Blatantly deceitful use of secular sources

i am looking good repository of instances where the watchtower or awake!

have quoted secular sources in such a way to make it appear the source supports their argument when it is blatantly obvious that the secular source disagreed with them.

if it doesn't exist, i am about to make one.

on the sept 1 or 15 2004 wt pg 30 the wt quotes a bible professor named dr, robert l. thomas. about the 144,000 rev. 7 even gives the name of the book. az friend of mine looked it up. and found that this thomas guy says in these pages that the wt is way out on the 144,000. this info can be found at john ankerburgs site.. i may have posted the link to this a while back. john

A reminder for Witnesses who deny this

they try and wiggle out of it with some vague, obscure answer.

schizm: if you don't agree with the wt on some teachings . why be a wimp and write them a letter. . have balls and call the writing dept. service dept etc. and hash out your disagreements. live. !!!!!!!!!!! they will ask your cong. and name etc. then after your honest with your questions . they will send some one to your hall . to make you eat the carpet. i've called bethel dozens of times. asked many hard questions and used different names of jw's i know.. funny they all got a visit from some dope at bethel that i made a fool of on the phone. only wish i was at the kingdum hell when these bethel heavies came up to these local new york cong's to see who i put into the hot seat. these dopes in the writing ,service dept etc, couldn't last 10 minutes on the phone with me the retarded jw''s in my area do a better job at defending the wt than these zombies at bethel. . call them at bethel it's a complete joke. and ask them a few hard question. here's the # 718-560-5000 . you will be surprised what a bunch of disinformed cunt rags they are... john

hi skally: nice to see old light. that is still new light !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! about 3 years ago when i read the nov 1 wt about giving your souls+ your every possion to the CRAPtower. i called the donation dept at CRAPERTOWER. they loved me till is asked for a full financial statement. .. but i kept my cool , and had them send all the info to my dad. then i waited about a month. and blasted him on how they PASS THE MORE THAN THE PLATE BUT ASK FOR YOUR LUNGS. . AND WANT EVERYTHING ,THAT IS ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE TO GO TO YOUR KIDS. WHAT A bunch of blood suckers. i could go in for hours on how i EXPOSED MY CLOSE JW AQUENTENCES ABOUT THIS . SOME YEARS AGO. but none of them will talk to me any longer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! skally is always on the make.

Street work

maybe this only happens in urban neighborhoods but when i was growing up, many dubs engaged in street work, basically offering the magazines to people on the street as they walked to a destination.. usually it was an area with a lot of foot traffic at a time when many people would travel the area.. did you or people in your congo engage in this and were there any funny stories relating to this practice?

street work here in nyc. is a joke . most jw's just stand in front of the subway stop and hand out tracts. like that guy on fulton st. handing out a flyer to go into his store. that say today only 50% off!!!!!!!!!! corner the dubs all the time. start asking simple bible questions. they melt like yellow snow mixed with sidewalk dirt. i find the jw's that work the stops are the dummest of dum. and have no idea of what the wt teaches. it usually takes me 10 minutes to chase them off the train station. and about a week to get them not to show up there any longer. as they know i'm looking for them... it's like shooting fish in a barrell. john

this book has a lot of hard to find info in it. really goes into the 1910's - 1920's etc, lots of rutherFRAUD STUFF. i don't like how the book is formated. but the list of info , and old wt quotes is worth the $20, i've been researching the wt day and night for the last 7 years. and this book has taught me things i never known.. it's worth the $$$$$$$. john

all this attention to our cause originated from the disfellowshipping and shunning of joel jahn in davenport, wa, a few months back.

at that time joel wrote a letter to the local davenport newspaper explaining the wt disfellowshipping policy used against him because he spoke out against the religion's child abuse policies.
